Bergevin Brothers - Seven Songs For America album now in President Barack Obama's hands.

Hello all,

I have great news.  We have confirmation that last week at a campaign stop for Senator Harry Reid the President received a copy of "Seven Songs For America".  This happened through a supporter/fan of ours in Las Vegas Marla Turner who was responsible for putting up the Obama Music and Arts web site for which "Fired Up" was featured for many weeks during the campaign.  Marla Turner is an activist and has met with the president on four previous occasions.  She contacted me last week to get permission to use "I Am An American" the music we did on election night when Barack Obama was elected.  She requested permission to push the music to 2500 of her email listeners.    During the conversation, she mentioned that she would be seeing/meeting the president.  I asked her if she would be willing to try and put the album into Barack's hands.  She said that she thought it might be difficult with the secret service in place and watching, but thought that she might try using staffers for this purpose.

I got confirmation from her that he indeed received the album and in his words said "Cool!".

This is a significant achievement for us and for the many, many team members who helped create the album.  It is an honor to know that our commander in chief has the album.
